The Blessed Margaret Family Help Center, Inc is a 501c3 IRS tax-exempt corporation, based in Ohio that helps families, in and out of crisis,using traditional Catholic principles.
The Catholic 12-Step method we espouse is described in detail in The Hook and I, written by David M Cannane. It describes the Catholic 12-Step recovery program that returns 12-Step recovery to its Catholic roots.
Our Apostolates
The different crisis areas in which we are currently assisting families are:
- Addiction Recovery through the Catholic 12-Steps as explained in The Hook and I and establishing La Misma Nada support groups that teach the Catholic 12-Steps
- Bereavement from a death in the family
- Caregiving of a family members
- Cancer detection dogs
- Home schooling resources
